Eating ice cream with fat and sugar, watching a romcom where someone finds a date or playing Diablo where you defeat an enemy sends a weaker dose of the same chemical rewards that you would get for actually gathering rich food, finding a mate and winning a fight. 

These chemicals imprint your brain in a nearly forever kind of way that tells you the behavior that triggered them is really good for you. 

So, you don't need entertainment, but the more you have, the more you want, like a drug. 
It is true that novelty is part of learning, but it also triggers dopamine. That is the same chemical that empowers our motivation to get up and do something. After an undeserved dopamine bender, people can hardly lift their backsides off of the sofa.

nayak

Nayak: The Real Hero is a 2001 Hindi language Indian political thriller film directed by S. Shankar, and starring Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever in the main roles.[1][2][3] The film is a remake of S. Shankar's successful Tamil film Mudhalvan (1999). The film's score and soundtrack, composed by A. R. Rahman, were reused from Mudhalvan with Hindi lyrics. It was critically acclaimed and has since developed a mass cult following among audience. The film was a box-office failure, primarily because of poor marketing. It was one of the most expensive films to be completely shot in India. At the same time this film was remade in Bangladesh named "Minister" directed by Kazi Hayat starring Manna (actor), Moushumi, Dildar and Kazi Hayat

Piku

Piku is a 2015 Indian dramatic comedy directed by Shoojit Sircar. Deepika Padukone portrays the titular protagonist, a Bengali architect living in New Delhi, and Amitabh Bachchan plays her hypochondriac father. Irrfan Khan, Moushumi Chatterjee and Jishu Sengupta portray supporting roles. Piku was released on 8 May 2015[2] to wide critical acclaim.[3]Made on a budget of ₹420 million (US$6.3 million), Piku earned ₹1.41 billion (US$21 million) worldwide



Ganges of wasseypur




Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1 (stylised as Gangs of वासेपुर) is a 2012 Indian crime film co-written, produced and directed by Anurag Kashyap.[9] Centered on the coal mafia of Dhanbad, Jharkhand, and the underlying power struggles, politics and vengeance between three crime families, the Part 1 features ensemble cast with Manoj Bajpai,Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Richa Chadda, Tigmanshu Dhulia in the major roles and its story spans from the early 1940s to mid-1990s. Both parts were originally shot as a single film measuring a total of 319 minutes and screened at the 2012 Cannes Directors' Fortnight[10][11][12][13] but since no Indian theatre would volunteer to screen a five plus hour film, it was divided into two parts (160 minutes and 159 minutes respectively) for the Indian market


Koi mil gaya


Koi... Mil Gaya (English: I... Found Someone) is a 2003 Bollywood science fiction film directed by Rakesh Roshan(who also has a cameo role), starring Hrithik Roshan, Rekha and Preity Zinta.
The film was released on 8 August 2003. It was shot in Kasauli, Nanital, Bhimtal and in Canada.
Koi... Mil Gaya was the most successful Bollywood film of 2003 and swept the Best Picture, Best Director (Rakesh Roshan) and Best Actor (Hrithik Roshan) awards in all major award ceremonies of 2003 including the Filmfare Awards, IIFA Awards, Screen Awards, etc. It is widely regarded as Bollywood's very first sci-fi film.[3] It spawned two sequels — Krrish and Krrish 3 — making it the first of the Krrish film series. It also spawned a spin-off animation-cum-live-action series titled J Bole Toh Jadoo that aired on Nickelodeon (India).[4]The film's theme has parallels to both the 1982 Hollywood hit E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,[5] and the 1960s story that E.T. itself was said to have been inspired by,The Alien by Indian filmmaker Satyajit Ray.[6] Director Roshan has stated that Koi... Mil Gaya is 'not an Indian E.T.'[7]The story of a mentally handicapped boy coming in contact with an alien appears to parallel The Alien more closely than E.T.



Border


Border is a 1997 blockbuster Bollywood War film based on the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. J. P. Dutta directed and produced this war epic which stars Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Pooja Bhatt,Puneet Issar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Raakhee and Sharbani Mukherjee. It is the highest grossing Indian film of 1997 and when adjusted for inflation holds as the ninth highest grossing hindi film of the 90s decade.
The movie is an adaptation from real life events that happened at the Battle of Longewala fought in Rajasthan(Western Theatre) during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and Bangladesh Liberation War. It is about how a band of 120 soldiers of the Punjab regiment of the Indian Army headed by Major Kuldip Singh Chandpuri successfully defended their post all night against a whole tank regiment of the Pakistani Army (The casualties on the Indian side was highly exaggerated in the film), until assistance came from the Indian Air Force the next morning. The film was a critical and commercial hit in India.

Drishyam




Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay Devgn) is an orphan who had dropped out of school after his 4th grade. Now he is a businessman running a cable TV service called Mirage Cable in a Goa. He is married to Nandini (Shriya Saran) and they have two daughters, Anju (his adopted daughter)(Ishita Dutta), a Plus Two student, and Annu, a student of class sixth. His only interest apart from his family is watching films. He spends most of his time in front of the TV in his small office.
During a nature camp, Anju gets photographed in the bathroom by a hidden cell phone. The culprit, Sam aka Sameer is the son of police Inspector General Meera Deshmukh (Tabu). Sam is accidentally killed by Nandini and her daughter when he comes to blackmail them. They hide his body in a compost pit, which is witnessed by Annu. Nandini tells Vijay about the incident and he devises a way to save his family from the law. He removes the broken cell phone and disposes of Sam's car, which is seen by Sub-Inspector Laxmikant Gaitonde, who has a grudge against Vijay. Vijay takes them out on a trip to Panjim, watch a movie and eat at a restaurant. Meera, realising that her son has gone missing starts an investigation.
After a preliminary investigation, Meera calls Vijay and family for questioning. Vijay had predicted that this would happen and taught his family how to change their alibi at the time of murder. When questioned individually, they replied the same thing and they had also shown the bill of the restaurant, the movie ticket and the bus journeys' tickets as proof of their alibi. Meera questions the owners of the establishments they have been to and their statements prove Vijay's alibi. Meera realises that on the day of the incident, Vijay had taken the tickets and the bill, made acquaintance with the owners and had gone for the trip with his family the next day, thus proving his alibi and making the owners unwittingly tell the lie.
Meera arrests Vijay and family and Gaitonde uses brute force to beat the truth out of them. Eventually, Annu gives in and reveals the place where the body is buried. After digging the compost pit, they find the carcass of a calf, indicating that Vijay had moved the body. Vijay reports to the media and complains against Gaitonde causing the public to beat up Gaitonde. The Sub-inspector is suspended and Meera resigns from her post. When Nandini asks Vijay about what he did to the body, he refuses to tell her, saying that it'll only worsen things. The fact that she does not know where the body is is in fact better than she knowing it. Meera and her husband meet Vijay to ask forgiveness for their rude and violent behavior. But Vijay indirectly tells them that he had got rid of 'the uninvited guest'. Vijay, now in remand, signs a register at the newly constructed local police station. As he leaves, a flashback shows him leaving the incomplete police station with a shovel in hand, indicating that he has hidden Sam's body in the foundations of the new police station itself.

ajantaram Mamantaram is a Hindi comedy film directed by Soumitra Ranade and produced by Arunima Roy.[1] The film is based on the tale of Bakasura and Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels.[2]

Following a three-year Diploma Course in Direction from the National School of Drama in Delhi, Ajay Kartik started scripting for popular TV serials such as ‘Ye Jo Hai Zindagi’. ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ and ‘Sara Jahan Hamara’. Ajay is involved with theatre and has directed more than twenty plays in Hindi. He is also involved with children’s theatre and has conducted many theatre workshops while also writing and directing several musicals for children

3 idiot

 3 Idiots (Hindi: ३ इडियट्स) is a 2009 Indian coming of age comedy-drama film co-written, edited, and directed byRajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Abhijat Joshi wrote the screenplay. It was loosely adapted from the novel Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat. The film stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R. Madhavan,Sharman Joshi, Omi Vaidya, Parikshit Sahni and Boman Irani.
Upon release, the film broke all opening box office records in India. It was the highest-grossing film in its opening weekend in India and had the highest opening day collections for a Indian film. It also held the record for the highest net collections in the first week for a Bollywood film. It also had a record footfall of 31,785,000.[4] It also became one of the few Indian films to become a major success in East Asian markets such as China,[5] eventually bringing its overseas total to more than US$65 million — the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time in overseas markets, before being overtaken by Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015).
The film is distinctive for featuring real inventions by little-known people in India's backyards. The brains behind the innovations were Remya Jose, a student from Kerala, who created the exercise-bicycle/washing-machine; Mohammad Idris, a barber from Meerut district in Uttar Pradesh, who invented a bicycle-powered horse clipper; and Jahangir Painter, a painter from Maharashtra, who made the scooter-powered flour mill.[6] This film was remade inTamil as Nanban (2012) which also received critical praise and commercial success.[7][8] It has also been announced that there will be a Chinese remake of the film produced by Stephen Chow and that there are plans for a Hollywoodremake produced in the United States.[9] A Telugu remake was planned despite Nanban having a Telugu dubbed version titled Snehitudu.

Bhaag milkha bhaag

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag[6] (English: "Run Milkha Run") is a 2013 Indian biographical sports drama film directed byRakeysh Omprakash Mehra from a script written by Prasoon Joshi based on the life of Milkha Singh, an Indian athlete who was a national champion runner and an Olympian. The film stars Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor, Meesha Shafi,Divya Dutta, Pavan Malhotra, Yograj Singh and Prakash Raj. Sports was coordinated by the American action directorRob Miller of ReelSports.[7]
Made on a budget of ₹300 million (US$4.5 million),[4] the film released on 12 July 2013 and gathered a positive response from critics and audiences alike. It performed very well at the box office, eventually being declared a "super hit" domestically and hit overseas.[8][9][10][11] Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is the sixth highest grossing 2013 Bollywood film worldwide[5] and became the twenty-first film to gross ₹1 billion (US$15 million).
Singh and his daughter, Sonia Sanwalka, co-wrote his autobiography, titled The Race of My Life.[12] The book inspiredBhaag Milkha Bhaag.[13][14][15] Singh sold the film rights for one rupee but inserted a clause stating that a share of the profits would be given to the Milkha Singh Charitable Trust.[16] The Trust was founded in 2003 with the aim of assisting poor and needy sportspeople.[17]

Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein (English: I Want to Stay in Your Heart) is a 2001 Indian film directed by Gautham Menonstarring Madhavan, Diya Mirza and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. It was a remake of the popular Tamil film Minnalewhich also starred Madhavan in the lead. The film was not successful during the time of its release, but over the years it has developed cult following among Indian youth. It is famous by its acronym RHTDM.

Bol Bachchan 



Bol Bachchan is a 2012 Bollywood romantic action comedy film. The film, made on a budget of ₹700 million(US$11 million),[2] is inspired by the 1979 film, Gol Maal. Bol Bachchan's official trailer was released on 24 May 2012[3]and the film was released on 6 July 2012 in around 2575 screens worldwide with 2700 prints. It received mixed critical acclaim but had a good opening at the box office.[4] The film reportedly made a record for its advance bookings.[5][6] It was remade in Telugu as Masala with Venkatesh and Ram Pothineni reprised the roles of Ajay Devgan and Abhishek Bachchan respectively.

 Herapheri


Raju (Akshay Kumar) is a tenant of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte a.k.a. Babu Bhaiyya (Paresh Rawal) and has not paid his rent for a long time. Raju does not believe in hard work and wants to earn easy money. He cons everybody, even his mother (Sulabha Arya), who thinks that her son works in Calcutta. Baburao, a bespectacled long-sighted man, runs the "Star Garage". He has a familial debt with many money-lenders and has hard time with them.
Shyam a.k.a. Ghanshyam (Sunil Shetty) has come to Mumbai from Gurgaon seeking a job in his late father's bank. Apparently his father died in a fire that broke out in the bank and he claims that the bank owes him the job. He badly needs the money for his friend Khadak Singh's (Om Puri) sister's marriage. A young woman, Anuradha Panniker (Tabu), is also in the running for the job, her father having died two minutes after Shyam's. Shyam meets Raju and a misunderstanding causes Shyam to think that Raju is a pickpocket. A fight ensues between the two, and Raju escapes, leaving his wallet with Shyam. After Raju leaves, Shyam discovers that he had his own wallet on him all the time. Unfortunately, this realisation comes just as Raju returns with two policemen, insisting that Shyam has robbed him.
Later that evening, Shyam reaches Star Garage. Baburao agrees to take him in as a paying boarder, although he warns Shyam that he will have to share the place with another boarder and will have to help with the household chores. Unfortunately for Shyam, the other boarder is Raju, who has not paid Baburao a single penny of rent in the last two years. The two men come to blows again the minute they see each other. Raju vociferously objects to Shyam's presence and threatens to move out. Baburao is nonplussed by Raju's indignation and calls his bluff. Eventually, Raju backs down, claiming that he's only staying because he owes Baburao and he hates to leave debts. The two men are constantly at each other's throats, and poor Baburao often ends up suffering the physical consequences of their conflict.
Raju manages to trick Shyam into signing a document that says he will give the bank position to Anuradha. When Shyam discovers the fraud, he threatens to sue both the bank and Anuradha. Panicked, the bank manager tries to get Anuradha to seduce Shyam, but he's having none of it. Eventually, she makes a deal to give him the position in exchange for money. Shyam is unable to get the money, and when he goes to bluff his way through the deal, he discovers that Anuradha is living with her mentally ill mother in abject poverty. She admits that she discovered that Shyam's own financial situation was as bad as her own, and that she didn't have the heart to go through with her plan, so she gives him her resignation letter. Shyam refuses, insisting that he could never live with himself if he accepted, and that she should keep the position. The two of them become friends and even begin a romance.
Meanwhile, Khadak Singh shows up at the bank looking for Shyam, whom he believes to have stiffed him. The bank manager gives him Baburao's address. Raju is only too glad to put in a "good word" for Shyam with Khadak Singh, and it is only thanks to Baburao's intervention that Shyam escapes being throttled by Khadak Sing. Shyam, however gets even with Raju by shaking him down for gas money in front of his mother, threatening to reveal to her that he isn't really earning good money as he claims to be.
Baburao is constantly getting called by people who want to speak to a Mr. Deviprasad (Kulbhushan Kharbanda), which annoys him no end. One day, however, things become serious when a kidnapper named Kabeera (Gulshan Grover) asks for Deviprasad. Only, this time, he's asking for a ransom to be paid for Deviprasad's granddaughter Rinku (Ann Alexia Anra of Avvai Shanmughi fame). The trio figures out that the phone numbers for Star Garage and Star Fisheries, of which Deviprasad is the owner, have been mistakenly transposed in the telephone directory.
Now, Raju decides to benefit from this situation and has Shyam call Deviprasad posing as Kabira and demanding double the amount asked by Kabeera so that they can pocket the other half themselves while satisfying the ransom demand. However, when the rich man's employee realises that Deviprasad's granddaughter might have been kidnapped, he involves the police. Angry that the police showed up at the exchange spot, Deviprasad threatens to shoot Inspector Prakash (Mukesh Khanna) with his own revolver, thereby allowing Raju, Shyam and Baburao to escape in the confusion. Kabeera's plans are thwarted, and as punishment for involving the police, he calls the trio again and doubles the ransom.
Following their brush with Kabeera and the police, Shyam and Baburao inform Raju that they're out of it, but Raju eventually shames them back into helping him. They tell Deviprasad to meet them at the rendezvous point an hour before Kabeera's appointed time. When they meet with Deviprasad, he demands to see his granddaughter. Eventually, the trio are forced to admit that they are not actually the kidnappers, just three guys in over their heads, but that they will get his granddaughter back for him. To further prove their sincerity, they unmask themselves, give Deviprasad their names and tell him that if he doesn't trust them, he can turn them in. Deviprasad chooses to believe them.
In a hilarious melee that involves Khadak Singh and his men, Kabeera and his cronies, the police, our heroes save the girl and return her to her grateful grandfather. Raju collects all the money, while Shyam and Baburao head towards their home.
When they find that Raju is not at home, they think that he may have fled with the money. Enraged, they call the police and concoct a story to implicate all 3 of them in the kidnapping. No sooner than they hang up with the police, a jubilant Raju enters, carrying a suitcase. He explains to the dumbfounded duo that the car had broken down, but that he fixed it, paid off Shyam's debts and got his mother discharged from the ashram where she had been staying. As he ends his narration, he is confused by his friends' glum expressions. They explain that since they thought he had stiffed them and finding his bag gone, had turned themselves in and implicated him too. Raju breaks down and tells them that in this world, all he really cares for is his mother, who will now see her son being arrested and sent to jail.
As expected, the police arrive to take the trio away to jail. Raju requests that they not be led out through the front door, lest his mother see them. At the last minute, just as the police are about to shut the door on the van, Deviprasad appears, telling the police that there's been a terrible misunderstanding. He tells them that his granddaughter had explained how the trio had valiantly rescued her, and says that they should consider the money as a prize for their efforts. He then tells the police that he is not pressing charges against them. Not having any reason to hold them any more, the police release the trio. They thank Deviprasad for intervening on their behalf, but Deviprasad insists that he should be thanking them, and that he meant what he said about the money being theirs. Anything the trio could possibly want in the future, Deviprasad insists, is theirs for the asking. Suddenly, the phone rings again and the trio think that it is for Deviprasad, as usual. But Deviprasad tells them that this time the call is for them. They pick up the phone and suddenly become tense. It is then revealed that the caller is actually Deviprasad's granddaughter pretending to be her kidnapper and saying, "Kabira speaking". The film ends with the trio breaking into uncontrollable ,


Golamaal


The story revolves around the lives of Gopal (Ajay Devgn), Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor), Madhav (Arshad Warsi) and Laxman (Sharman Joshi) (hence the name GoLMaL).
Laxman is an intelligent student who is diverted from doing well in college by his mischievous band of friends Gopal, Madhav, and Lucky. Lucky is a mute in the movie. The three friends use Laxman's hostel room for their mischievous activities. Laxman is peer pressured into running a series of scams to earn himself and his friends some money and is punished by being thrown out of college. The naughty foursome then finds refuge in the bungalow of a blind couple, Somnath (Paresh Rawal) and Mangala (Sushmita Mukherjee), who are waiting for their grandson, Sameer. Gopal pretends to be Sameer returning from America, and enters the house, while the other three friends sneak in hidden.
A cat-and-mouse game unfolds as Laxman's body and Gopal's voice make up Sameer. Each time the blind Dadaji comes amidst them, hilarious situations arise. Enter Nirali (Rimi Sen), the saucy girl-next-door, and the group now have time, place and 'resources' to fall in love. Their individual efforts at winning the lady's heart fail. Apart from their amorous interests, there is a quest for hidden treasure in the old couple's house. There is also a gangster named Babli who wants to steal from the couple's bungalow. All his attempts are unintentionally and unknowingly thwarted by the foursome.

Fun2sh

Mumbai lives in fear of a notorious thief who calls himself Chindi Chor (Gulshan Grover), and steals whenever and whatever he desires without any regard to security, and police protection. When Ghoshal (Ashish Vidyarthi) announces the exhibition and subsequent auction of Emperor Babushah (also played by Gulshan Grover)'s crown, Chindi challenges him that he is going to steal this priceless crown, and Ghosal accepts the challenge, and hires private security guards. Chindi carries out the theft, and two of the security guards, Vikram (Mohammad Iqbal Khan) and Ajay (Anuj Sawhney), and an accomplice, John D'Souza (Paresh Rawal), become prime suspects, and are on the run. They must apprehend Chindi and recover the crown to absolve themselves of this crime. While being chased by security guards, the trio crash into a wall, and are transported back to the 10th century, straight into the palace of Emperor Babushah himself. The trio think they are on the sets of a Bollywood movie, and take nothing seriously, until they are imprisoned. It is then the hapless trio realize that they must not only escape, but must also take the crown, back with them to the 21st century to absolve themselves of this crime. They do realize that only a miracle can get them back to the 21st century.
Chota chetan




Chhota Chetan is a 1998 Hindi dubbed release of the 1984 Malayalam film My Dear Kuttichathan, which was India's first 3D film. Though a dubbed release, it went on to become a major box office hit.[1]
It was the first feature film to introduce DTS for a stereoscopic 3D feature film.
Although it was the dubbed version of My Dear Kuttichathan, a few additional scenes were shot with Hindi actors [[Urmila Matondkarsunil ]], Satish Kaushik, Shakti Kapoor, Harish) and Ravi Baswani.
Shakti Kapoor plays the part of a magician who tries to catch Chetan but gets trapped in a mirror. The part was originally played by Dominic Alumudan in the Malayalam version (Prakashraj did this role in its re-released Tamil version Chutti Chathan). Satish Kaushik plays the part of Jagathi Sreekumar as a scientist who also tries to catch Chetan but gets destroyed.


    Lagaan





    Lagaan (English: Land Tax) is a 2001 Indian epic sports-drama film written and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.Aamir Khan, who was also the producer, stars with Gracy Singh in the lead roles; British actors Rachel Shelley andPaul Blackthorne play the supporting roles. Made on a then-unprecedented budget of ₹250 million (equivalent to₹540 million or US$8.2 million in 2015), the film was shot in an ancient village near Bhuj, India.
    The film is set in the Victorian period of India's colonial British Raj. The story revolves around a small village whose inhabitants, oppressed by high taxes, find themselves in an extraordinary situation as an arrogant officer challenges them to a game of cricket as a wager to avoid the taxes. The narrative spins around this situation as the villagers face the arduous task of learning the alien game and playing for a result that will change their village's destiny.
    Lagaan received critical acclaim and awards at international film festivals, as well as many Indian film awards. It became the third Indian film to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film after Mother India (1957) and Salaam Bombay! (1988). It was one of the biggest box office hits of 2001. In 2010, the film was ranked No. 55 in Empire magazines "The 100 Best Films of World Cinema".[4] In 2011, it was listed in Timemagazine's special "The All-TIME 25 Best Sports Movies".

    Aprichit (Anniyan)


    Anniyan (English: Outsider or Stranger) is a 2005 Indian Tamil psychological thriller film written and directed byShankar and produced by V. Ravichandran of Oscar Films. The film attempts to highlight increasing social apathy and public negligence. The plot centers on a disillusioned "everyman", whose frustrations at the sorry state of affairs leads him into developing a split personality which attempts to cleanse the system. Vikram stars as Ramanujam, an idealistic, law-abiding lawyer who suffers from multiple personality disorder and develops two other identities: ametrosexual fashion model Remo and a vigilante serial killer Anniyan. Sadha plays his love interest Nandini. Vivek,Prakash Raj, Nedumudi Venu and Nassar also feature.
    Shankar conceived the film in mid-2003 during the post-production of his previous film, Boys. He based the film on his own life experiences during his growing up years, when he was disturbed by the societal happenings, and his eventual displeasure with the society. While pre-production began in November 2003, principal photography commenced in March 2004 and the film was in the making for 14 months due to numerous production delays. The film was shot atHyderabad, Thanjavur, Villupuram and Chennai while the song sequences were filmed in Amsterdam, Mumbai,Malaysia and Tenkasi. The film was notable for its recreation of the Tyagaraja Aradhana music festival and the extensive use of time slice photography in an action sequence.
    Cinematographer V. Manikandan abandoned the project partway through as the unexpected delays affected his other commitments; he was replaced with Ravi Varman. The technical departments consist of editing by V. T. Vijayan, production design by Sabu Cyril and stunt choreography by Peter Hein while the soundtrack was composed by Harris Jayaraj, making his maiden collaboration with the director. The film was touted to be the director's magnum opus and was budgeted at ₹263.8 million, making it the costliest South Indian film made during the time of its release. Notably, it was the first South Indian film to avail institutional finance and the largest insurance cover available for films at that time.
    Originally filmed in Tamil, the film was dubbed and released simultaneously in all the four South Indian states on 17 June 2005 while a Hindi version titled Aparichit was released a year later on 19 May 2006. Further, the film was also dubbed into French and released in French-speaking countries worldwide by Columbia Tristar. While the film was commercially successful across South India, the Hindi version received lukewarm response and was a box-office failure. Anniyan received overall positive response from critics and audience alike and, together with its dubbed versions, grossed ₹570 million in its lifetime run. The film won a National Award for its special effects apart from winning eight Filmfare Awards and six State Film Awards.



    I (2015)

    I[a] (also known as Shankar's I ) is a 2015 Indian Tamil romantic thriller film written and directed by Shankar and co-written by Subha. Produced and distributed by V. Ravichandran under his production company, Aascar Films, the film features Vikram and Amy Jackson in lead roles while Suresh Gopi, Upen Patel, Santhanam and Ramkumar Ganesanportray pivotal roles. The soundtrack and film score were composed by A. R. Rahman. Production design was handled by T. Muthuraj. P. C. Sreeram was the film's cinematographer and editing was done by Anthony.
    The visual effects were designed by V. Srinivas Mohan through Rising Sun Pictures. Weta Workshop had worked on the digital and prosthetic make-up and background arts for the film. Principal photography commenced on 15 July 2012. The filming lasted for two years and eight months, during which shooting was done extensively in China.[5]Further schedules were filmed in locations in Chennai, Bangkok, Jodhpur, Kodaikanal, Pollachi, Bangalore andMysore. The film was dubbed and released in Telugu and Hindi along with the Tamil version.[6][7]
    The film, released on 14 January 2015, tells the story of a body builder turned super model, played by Vikram, who after being deformed, exacts revenge upon those who responsible for his predicament.[8] The film received mixed to positive reviews from critics, who praised Vikram's performance and the technical aspects of the film, but criticised the writing and the film's excessive length.[9]

    Lingaa 




    A dam in the village of Solaiyur, which is the lifeline of that village, is under assessment for structural integrity by the Public Works Department. The dam inspector (Ponvannan) assesses that the dam is still strong 75 years after it was built. Later that evening, he is hacked to death by the corrupt local MP Nagabhushan (Jagapathi Babu), who wants the dam destroyed for his own benefit. The dying dam inspector throws a pen drive containing details about the proposed plan to destroy the dam into an abandoned Shiva temple near the dam and warns the village head Karunakara (K. Viswanath) that the temple has to be opened as soon as possible, after which he passes away. Karunakara and the villagers are of the opinion that the temple can only be opened by the descendant of Raja Lingeswaran (Rajinikanth), who built the dam as well as the Shiva temple. Lakshmi (Anushka Shetty), the granddaughter of Karunakara and a television journalist, goes on a search to find the Raja's descendant. She soon manages to find the descendant, whose name is Lingeswaran aka Lingaa (Rajinikanth). Lingaa is the grandson of Raja Lingeswaran, but is a petty thief with his family having now fallen on hard times. He holds a grudge against his grandfather, feeling that he had brought down his family into poverty by squandering all his wealth and hence refuses to go with Lakshmi to Solaiyur. However, Lakshmi implicates Lingaa in a robbery, as a result of which the police pursue Lingaa. Lingaa is forced to accept Lakshmi's invitation to avoid getting caught and travels with her to Solaiyur.
    At Solaiyur, Lingaa finds out that the Lingam installed at the Shiva temple is made of Maragatham stone, which is extremely valuable, so at midnight, he enters the Shiva temple with the intention to steal the Lingam. But he is noticed by one of the dam's security guards, who immediately alerts all the villagers including Lakshmi, Karunakara and Nagabhushan, to the temple courtyard. Aware of the villagers' presence, Lingaa pretends to perform pooja to the Lingam. This fools the villagers, who find it auspicious that the grandson of Raja Lingeswaran is performing pooja to the Shiva Lingam installed at the temple built by the Raja at on the occasion ofMaha Shivaratri. Karunakara then tells everyone present, including Lingaa, the story of Raja Lingeswaran.
    Raja Lingeswaran, the ruler of the erstwhile princely state of Kodiyur and a civil services officer, was an altruist who built the dam at Solaiyur in 1939 to solve the water problems of that village. The dam faced severe resistance from the British Raj, who tried various measures to halt its construction, none of which was successful. Though the Raja had spent his entire fortune on the dam for the villagers' benefit, the British lied to the villagers that the Raja was a British spy who would hand over the dam and all the villagers' lands to the British once the dam was completed. The irate villagers threw the Raja out of Solaiyur. Later, the villagers realised the Raja's true intentions and after a search, found him and his wife Bharathi (Sonakshi Sinha) living in poverty. After unsuccessfully trying to convince the Raja to return to Solaiyur, the villagers decided to keep the Shiva temple which was built along with the dam closed until the Raja or his descendants returned to the village. Lingaa, on hearing the Raja's story, changes his opinion about his grandfather and decides to mend his ways.
    Later, Lingaa and Lakshmi, through the pen drive hidden at the Shiva temple, find out about Nagabhushan's evil plans to destroy the dam. They manage to expose him in front of all the villagers in a thrilling climax. The movie ends with Lingaa and Lakshmi, who are now in love with each other, leaving Solaiyur, with Lingaa deciding to return once he has done something good in life like his grandfather


    Diler The Daring (Anji)




    The Aatmalingam of the Himalayas possesses enormous divine powers. Once every 72 years, Akasa Ganga from sky flows into the Aatmalingam. Those who drink the holy water of Akasa Ganga become younger for eternity and gain supernatural powers.
    In 1932, a youngster named Bhatia (Bhupinder Singh) attempts to get hold of Atmalingam and drink Akasa Ganga but ends up losing his right arm. As time progresses, Bhatia (Tinnu Anand) is now 99 years old. Bhatia searches for the traces of Aatma Lingam, but in vain. The Akasaganga is slated to flow to earth for Atmalingam in 2004 again. Finally he gets to know about a professor who made a lifetime research on Aatmalingam and Akasaganga who possesses vital information in a red diary.
    Fearing for his life and this information, the professor sends the diary to his student Swapna (Namrata Shirodkar) who is in USA so that Bhatia will not be able to get divine powers. After receiving the diary, Swapna, sensing danger to her professor, comes back to India in search of her professor only to find him killed. While escaping from Bhatia, she runs into Anji (Chiranjeevi). Anji is a good Samaritan in Uravakonda forest area, who serves the most revered Sivanna (Nagendra Babu)- an ayurvedic specialist while also raising 4 orphans - Akshay Reddy Gaddam and others.
    Oneday, Anji accidentally stumbles on 'Atmalingam' and gets it into his possession. After coming to know about it, Bhatia and his men are after Anji and Swapna. As the D Day of Akasa Ganga is fast approaching, Sivanna advises Anji that the Atmalingam should be sent back to where it belongs. The rest of the movie shows how Anji returns the Aatma lingam to the temple in Himalayas while also defeating Bhatia.

    Bahubali The Beginning 






    Bāhubali: The Beginning (English: Magnanimous Man: The Beginning) is a 2015 Indian bilingual epic historical fiction film directed by S. S. Rajamouli.[7][8][9] Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, it is the first of two cinematic parts.[10] The film was simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil and dubbed into Hindi, Malayalam andFrench languages. Baahubali: The Beginning features an ensemble cast of Prabhas,[11] Rana Daggubati, Tamannaahand Anushka Shetty in lead roles. Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh, Tanikella Bharani and Sudeepappear in supporting roles.[12] Baahubali: The Beginning was released worldwide on 10 July 2015 to positive reviews from critics, and became the third global highest grossing Indian film of all time, and the highest grossing Indian film of all time within India.[13][14]
    Baahubali: The Beginning is also the first non-Hindi Indian film to gross over ₹500 crore (US$75 million) worldwide.[15][16] An International version of Baahubali: The Beginning edited by Vincent Tabaillon is scheduled for a screening at the Busan International Film Festival in October 2015.[17] Baahubali: The Beginning, was made on a budget of ₹120 crore (US$18 million)[18][5][19] The film was shot using Arri Alexa XT camera; the principal photographybegan at Rock Gardens in Kurnool on 6 July 2013. Sabu Cyril was the production designer for the film, the soundtrack and background score for the film was composed by M. M. Keeravani, and V. Srinivas Mohan was the visual effectssupervisor.

    Arya-2



    Arya 2 (IPA: [[ɑːrja]-2]; Telugu: ఆర్య-2, Ārya-2) is a 2009 Telugu romance film directed by Sukumar, and is a follow-up to the actor's and the director's previous successful film, Arya. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal play the lead roles whileNavdeep and Shraddha Das play supporting roles[3] Sukumar, who directed the original, directed this film as well. The film's music is by Devi Sri Prasad. Aditya Babu and Bhogavalli Prasad produced the film under the Aditya Arts banner. The film was dubbed in Malayalam, Tamil and Oriya[4] with the same title and became a blockbuster in Kerala. Some scenes were recreated with Malayali-based scenes for this. Allu Arjun gained huge fan base in Kerala through this film. This is a stand-alone sequel to the 2004 Telugu film Arya. The film was dubbed in Hindi as Arya: Ek Deewanaand it fully used the shot-ready scenes from the Telugu movie. Arya 2 collected a Share of ₹30 crore (US$4.5 million) in 100 Days.Its Pre-release revenue's fetched an additional ₹7 crore (US$1.1 million).[1] The film was remade in Bengali as Ami Shudhu Cheyechi Tomay.



    Arranbam



    Arrambam (English: Beginning) is a 2013 Indian Tamil thriller drama film directed by Vishnuvardhan. Produced by A. Raghuram and co-written by Subha, the film features Ajith Kumar, Arya, Nayantara and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles. While the score and soundtrack of the film were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the cinematography was handled by Om Prakash and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.
    Following pre-production works for six months and the official announcement of the project in May 2012, filming commenced in June 2012 and was held for the next 15 months. The majority of filming took place in Mumbai, where the story unfolds, while other shooting locations include Chennai, Bangalore, Dubai, Hyderabad, Mahabaleshwar,Jaisalmer, Leh and Ladakhs.[5] The film was not titled until it entered post-production and was mostly referred to asThala 53 or Valai, a supposed working title. The film was released on 31 October 2013 and emerged a box-office success.
